Tianjin stainless steel manufacturers: polishing process of stainless steel products
Tianjin stainless steel manufacturers indicate that a smooth surface is an important characteristic of stainless steel products and is crucial for maintaining their normal function. Therefore, the polishing process of stainless steel products is very important. According to the manufacturing steps, the polishing process of stainless steel products can be divided into two steps: grinding and brightening. The main goal of grinding stainless steel welds is to remove the weld points and achieve a surface roughness of R10um for brightening. In short, the grinding part includes three processes: rough grinding, semi-fine grinding, and fine grinding; three sides: two sides and one side; nine polishing machines and twenty-seven adjusting mechanisms. Details are as follows: 1. Tianjin stainless steel manufacturers indicate that before visual inspection, the workpiece transferred to the polishing process from the previous process should be checked for defects that cannot be remedied in this process, such as missed welds, penetration, uneven weld depth, too far from the joint, local depressions, uneven joints, deep scratches, bumps, and severe deformation. If any of the above defects are present, the workpiece should be returned to the previous process for rework. If there are no defects, the workpiece enters the polishing process. 2. Rough grinding: Use 600# abrasive belt to grind the three sides of the workpiece back and forth. The goal of this process is to remove the weld points left by welding and the protrusions from the previous process, thus achieving the preliminary forming of the fillet weld. Horizontal and vertical...
Tianjin Stainless steel product manufacturer Indicates, A smooth surface is an important characteristic of stainless steel products, which is of great significance to maintaining the normal function of stainless steel products, so the polishing process of stainless steel products is very important. According to the manufacturing steps, the polishing process of stainless steel products can be divided into two steps: grinding and brightening.
The main objective of grinding stainless steel welds is to remove the welds and achieve a surface roughness of R10μm for the workpiece, preparing for brightening.
In summary, Grinding Parts include: Three processes: rough grinding, semi-fine grinding, and fine grinding. Three sides: two sides and one side. Nine polishing machines, Twenty-seven adjusting mechanisms.
Details are as follows:
1. Tianjin Stainless steel product manufacturers indicate that, Visually inspect the workpieces transferred to the polishing process from the previous process, such as whether there are defects that cannot be remedied in this process, such as missed welding, penetration, uneven weld depth, too far from the joint, local depressions, uneven docking, deep scratches, bumps, severe deformation, etc. If there are such defects, they should be returned to the previous process for repair. If there are no above defects, enter the polishing process.
2. Rough grinding: Use 600# abrasive belt to grind the three sides of the workpiece back and forth. The goal of this process is to remove the welds left by welding and the protrusions from the previous process, thus achieving the preliminary forming of the fillet weld. The horizontal and vertical surfaces basically have no large scratches and protrusions. After this step, the surface roughness of the workpiece should reach R 0.8 mm. Pay attention to the inclination angle of the belt sander during polishing and control the pressure of the belt sander on the workpiece. Generally speaking, it is more moderate when the polished surface is in a straight line!
3. Semi-fine grinding, that is, according to the previous method of grinding the workpiece back and forth, use 800# abrasive belt to grind the three sides of the workpiece, mainly to correct the seams in the previous process and further refine the traces produced after rough grinding, repeatedly grinding the traces left by the previous process, so that the surface of the workpiece is free of scratches and basically bright. The surface roughness of this process should reach r 0.4 mm, (note that do not produce new scratches and protrusions in this process, because such defects cannot be repaired in subsequent processes.)
4. Fine grinding: 1000# abrasive belt is mainly used to correct and grind the fine lines in the previous step, the grinding method is the same as above. The goal of this process is that the seam between the ground part and the unground part of the workpiece basically disappears, and the surface of the workpiece is further brightened. The workpiece ground by this process should basically approach the mirror effect, and the surface roughness of the workpiece should reach R 0.1 mm.
5. Abrasive belt replacement instructions: Tianjin Stainless steel product manufacturers indicate that, 600# abrasive belt can polish 6-8 workpieces with a length of 1500mm, 800# abrasive belt can polish 4-6 workpieces, and 1000# abrasive belt can polish 1-2 workpieces. The specific situation depends on the welding points of the workpiece, the pressure used for polishing, and the polishing method. In addition, when replacing the abrasive belt, pay attention to ensuring that the abrasive belt can rotate smoothly on the sponge wheel to achieve the purpose of uniform grinding of the workpiece.
