Why is my stainless steel sink magnetic?

Stainless steel sheets themselves are non-magnetic, but after cold drawing, a small amount of the microstructure will transform into martensite. The greater the processing deformation, the more martensite transformation will occur, and the greater the magnetism of the steel will be. Magnetism does not affect the use function of the sink, does not affect health, and the magnetism will gradually fade after normal use.
